The successful tour of World XI to Pakistan has sent the message to the World loud and clear that Pakistan is a safe place for international events and Pakistan is capable of holding events of international standards.
After the attack on the Sri Lankan cricket team in Lahore the doors of international cricket was closed for Pakistan and many countries refused to send their teams to Pakistan.
Najam sethi said “the world xi series is now planned for every year for the three years. This is first of the three series and there will be two more in the next years,”

He added that the Pakistan’s victory over world’s best player has increased the joy and happiness.
He announced that he is hopeful that SriLanka and West Indies will also come to Pakistan to play a full fledge series in Pakistan in near future.
“Once this [World XI tour] is done the Sri Lankans have committed to play one or two matches in Lahore next month and then the West Indies have committed to me that they will come for three matches in November,” he said.
He also said that the success of PSL Final in Lahore have raised the confidence of International players in the security situation of Pakistan and they feel safe to play in Pakistan.
