Two weeks ago on 15th Oct’17, Famous Fashion Designer Deepak Perwani announced that he had joined MQM-Pakistan.
However, he has now clarified and denied this news that he does not have the time for politics and has not formally joined MQM-Pakistan.
Furthermore, in an official statement, Deepak Perwani said,
“As a citizen of Karachi, I recognize the importance and relevance of the political landscape and the very vital contribution of the MQM. During my 25 years of career as a fashion designer, I have been a political and Karachi has been central to my growth, sustenance and pride.
I have great respect and regard for Dr Farooq Sattar. I would like to make it very clear that I have not formally joined any party but will always support causes and charities that will benefit my city and my country. I thank Dr Sattar and wish him and the party every success,” he added.
Despite everything we wonder what made him initially join the party and afterwards quickly announced that he isn’t a piece of any political gathering.
Nevertheless, we wish him all the best for his future plans.
