
Masood Ahmed Barkati, who remained the editor of Hamdard Naunehal for around 65 years, passed away at 87 years old after a protracted illness on Sunday, leaving various perusers of the kids’ magazine disheartened.
As indicated by loved ones, Barkati, a productive author of youngsters’ writing who composed 20 books, had been sick for a long while and passed on Sunday evening 10th Dec’ 17.
He had been altering the magazine for as far back as 65 years without missing a solitary issue. Most pundits said such a long stretch for somebody to alter a production may be a record in itself on the planet.
People recalled Barkati sahib’s work as a gift of their childhood on Twitter and posted:
