
People around the world were in for a triple treat as a blue moon, a supermoon and a complete lunar eclipse all rolled into one and amaze the world.
The moon is being called “Super blue blood moon”. It is a rare phenomenon and happens after a gap of 152 years.
Talking to PTV News, chief Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) Dr Ghulam Rasul had said,
“This would be a historical moment because it was a coincidence when the blue moon, red moon and full lunar eclipse will take place at the same time and on the same date and this moon was last time seen in 1866.”
