The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Axact, Mr. Shoaib Ahmed Shiekh has been detained by Federal Investigation agency on Monday, shortly after he came out of the Sindh High Court.
Interestingly, this time, we saw an unusual move in order to make this custody happened. The court rejected the plea of ‘protective bail’ for the first time ever in the history of Pakistan, as per claimed by the Axact lawyers.
The court rejected the plea while hearing the Axact scandal and money laundering case. However, FIA had already filed a plea against Shiekh’s acquittal in the case.

Shoaib Shiekh has reportedly been moved to the corporate crime cell of the FIA and will be produced before a trial court tomorrow.
Despite the harsh court verdict against Shoaib Shiekh, he was quite calm and confident.
“I have faith in judiciary and justice,” he said while addressing the media on the spot.
The strong-standing CEO also quote the splendid verses from Faiz Ahmed Faiz’s collection:
“Jis dhaj se koi maqtal pe gaya, vo shaan salamat rehti hai,
Yeh Jaan tu aa’ani ja’ani hai, iss jaan ki koi baat nahi”
The rejection of protective plea, however, generated a wave of concern among the citizens. People who were already accusing the Indian paid media groups that include Geo and Jang, Dunya and, Samaa for cooking up the fake Axact scandal, have now has the solid reason to stand firm with Axact and Bol media group.
