Amir Khan, a British-Pakistani boxer, was robbed of an expensive watch at gunpoint in East London on Tuesday, according to reports.
Khan described the event on his official Twitter account, stating he was robbed of his watch while crossing the road with his wife, Faryal Makhdoom, in East London’s Leyton.
He said the criminals put a revolver at his face before he removed his watch and handed it over to them.
Just had my watch taken off me at gun point in East London, Leyton. I crossed the road with Faryal, luckily she was few steps behind me. 2 men ran to me, he asked for my watch whist having a gun pointed in my face. The main thing is we’re both safe.
