On Monday, the Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, and his wife, Kate Middleton, commemorated Anzac Day 2022.
Prince William lay a wreath at the Cenotaph on Whitehall on behalf of Queen Elizabeth before attending the memorial and thanksgiving ceremony at Westminster Abbey with the Duchess of Cambridge.
Anzac Day has been marked in London since King George V attended a service at Westminster Abbey in 1916, honouring all Australians and New Zealanders who have died in combat and honouring all those who have served.
Later, Prince William and Kate published lovely images from the service on their social media accounts.
“On this #AnzacDay, remembering Australians and New Zealanders who have died in combat and expressing appreciation to all those who have served,” they said.
