Three exercises for ‘fat reduction and leg toning’ from a fitness trainer

Experts claim that combining bodyweight workouts with a calorie deficit diet can help people accomplish their health objectives. Did you know, though, that bodyweight workouts may be used to target certain muscles and help them tone? Juhi Kapoor, a yoga trainer and fitness expert, recently offered three efficient exercises for “fat loss and leg toning.”

“Three exercises to help you lose weight and tone your legs.” “These exercises are great for beginners since they employ the assistance of a wall to help you balance and maintain proper form,” she said on Instagram.

*Do three sets of one minute each.

Lunges supported by the wall

— Each leg should be at a 90-degree angle to the other.

*Do three sets of 20 repetitions each on both sides.

Wall supported one leg deadlift

– Keep hips squared. Avoid tilting to either side.

*Practice on both sides – three sets of 20 reps each

Who can do these?

“Anyone can perform these exercises,” Kapoor said, adding that “this is especially ideal for individuals who are really fat, as you require low-impact activities.”

She claims that even novices can do them, although pregnant women should take caution and avoid the last exercise, which demands balance on one leg. “Senior persons should practise slowly and carefully, and individuals with knee trouble should maintain their knees and ankles in one line; if any discomfort occurs during any part of the activity, stop,” she urged.

Contraindications

Because these are simple workouts, there aren’t many contraindications, according to Kapoor. Those with severe joint pain or arthritis, as well as those who have ankle or heel discomfort, should avoid it.
