A line of witnesses arrived in Fairfax, Virginia, for the third week of testimony in Hollywood star Johnny Depp’s defamation case against his ex-wife Amber Heard.
Starling Jenkins, Depp’s security guard, testified in court on Thursday about an incident in which faeces was discovered in the couple’s bed. Heard described the encounter as a “practical joke gone wrong,” according to Jenkins.
While Terence Dougherty, the ACLU’s general counsel and COO, discussed the organization’s relationship with Heard, including contributions and the drafting of her op-ed with her attorneys.
Heard, who has yet to testify, is scheduled to do so next week. While Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, who dated Heard, and actor James Franco, whom Depp suspected had an affair with her, are apparently not going to testify.
