On Fridays, the offices will operate till 01:00 PM.
The letter further said that, unless otherwise stated, all federally funded public institutions shall continue to follow the above-mentioned office hours.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif removed Saturday as a weekly vacation and altered the business hours for all federal government departments and organisations within days after taking office.
Employees reacted angrily to the move, leading to a series of protest actions even during Ramadan, asking that the government reverse its decision.
