Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson had yet another crazy evening.
On Saturday in Washington, D.C., the two attended the White House Correspondents’ Dinner together, marking their red carpet debut. At the event, which honours the efforts of White House journalists and the media, the Saturday Night Live actor joined the reality star as her guest.
Kardashian, 41, was invited on behalf of ABC after the premiere of her new Hulu reality series The Kardashians earlier this month. Their appearance comes after they attended the premiere of Keeping Up with the Kardashians: The Next Generation together.
Kardashian looked stunning in a form-fitting, glittering white-silver Balenciaga Couture gown, while Davidson, 28, kept it casual in a black suit with matching sunglasses and a slender tie for Saturday’s event.
The pair swanned down the middle aisle of the large, crowded ballroom, holding hands and surrounded by a stern-faced retinue, more than an hour and a half after the dinner began, while the catering crew strained to get entrees delivered to roughly 3,000 guests. Pete wore his sunglasses all the time. As they walked to their table, neither of them said anything.
President Joe Biden, First Lady Dr. Jill Biden, Martha Stewart, Brooke Shields, and J. Smith-Cameron, as well as various cabinet secretaries and other legislators and commentators, were among those who attended the event, which was hosted by Trevor Noah.
After her SNL hosting debut, the duo began hinting at their connection in late 2021, when they were seen spending time together at meals and private functions. In mid-November, Kardashian even threw Davidson an expensive birthday party in Palm Springs.
Davidson openly referred to Kardashian as his girlfriend for the first time on PEOPLE (The TV Show! in February. Kardashian and Davidson made their relationship official on Instagram in March after she shared a series of love photographs with Davidson.
This is the first WHCD in over two years, following a break caused by the COVID-19 epidemic, but it isn’t Kardashian’s first time at the event; she attended her mother Kris Jenner in 2012.
Over the last three years, Kardashian has been increasingly interested in politics. The entrepreneur, who passed her “baby bar” in 2021, has spoken up for prison reform in briefings and campaigned to reverse many sentences.
