Pilot mother-son duo fly IndiGo plane together for the first time in viral video | Watch

A pilot from IndiGo Airlines made Mother’s Day extra memorable for his mother on board by giving an emotional speech to her. Both of them are pilots, and the mother-son combination got to fly together for the first time as co-pilots on Sunday. In the footage, Aman Thakur, a 24-year-old pilot, is seen approaching the plane with a flower in his hand and walking toward his mother, the co-pilot! The young pilot tells the passengers that he has been travelling with his mother as a passenger for the past 24 years, but that he is now extremely glad to be flying with her as a co-pilot.

“Ladies and gentlemen, boys & girls, this is your first officer Aman Thakur. May I please have your attention for a while? As we all know It a very special day being Mother’s Day. I am sure you must be pouring all your love and respects to your mother. I would like to make a small homage to my mum on Mother’s Day. It’s been 24 years in my life that I’ve been flying as a passenger with my mum on various flights on various airlines and in IndiGo. So, today marks a very special day for me as I will be co-piloting this flight with her. Thank you for everything that you have done for me and thank you so much for being there for me,” he said.
