
A TV interview with Pakistani left-handed opener Imam-ul-Haq took an unexpected turn when a female in the audience proposed to the batsman for marriage.
When the girl asked Imam, “Will you marry me?” during a comedy show that will run on Geo News soon, the incident occurred.
Imam was taken aback and blushed at the unexpected inquiry. Imam asked, fighting back his laughter, what he might say in this regard.
The girl then pleaded that Imam not let her down.
“You must go to my mother for this,” the cricketer said, while the girl stated that she would go to anyone if he said yes.
‘Babar Azam will marry first’: Imam
Imam stated at another broadcast that he has no plans to marry anytime near.
“For the time being, I have no plans to marry. You might see me getting married in the next one and a half years. However, my current emphasis is cricket “he remarked.
“Babar Azam will marry first, then I’ll think about it,” Imam said in response to an inquiry regarding marriage.
Imam, the nephew of former Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq, debuted for Pakistan in an ODI against Sri Lanka in 2017. He has played 14 Tests, 49 ODIs, and two T20Is since then.
