
The funeral prayers of famous politician and TV host Aamir Liaquat Hussain to be offered after Namaz-e- Asr.
He will be laid to rest alongside his parents’ at Abdullah Shah Ghazi’s monument in the Clifton.
Aamir Liaquat’s grave will be adjacent to his father Sheikh Liaquat Hussain’s and mother Mehmooda Sultana’s graves.
Aamir Liaquat’s funeral prayers will be offered today after Namaz-e-Asr , according to MPA Jamal Siddiqui.
“Funeral prayers will be offered near the shrine of Abdullah Shah Ghazi,” Jamal Siddiqui said. He added that Aamir Liaquat’s son will reach Karachi tomorrow at 11 AM
Aamir Liaquat Hussain is the son of politician Sheikh Liaquat Hussain and journalist Mahmooda Sultana. He was born in Karachi on July 5, 1971.
Hussain began his career as a televangelist when he joined Geo Television in 2001 to broadcast Aalim Online, a religious programme. In 2010, he quit Geo TV to host many Ramzan transmissions and game shows on other private broadcasters.
In 2002, he ran for the NA-249 parliamentary constituency in Karachi on the Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s ticket.

In April of this year, he left the PTI, just as Khan was facing a vote of no confidence from the opposition parties.
Hussain has had three marriages. At the age of 50, he passed away on Thursday.
