The short video of the rescue operation has gone viral online, and netizens have been impressed by the authorities’ quick and decisive action. Rescue workers can be seen working diligently to lift the baby elephant who had fallen into the ditch in the now-viral footage. They started by widening the trench to enhance the surface area. It also enabled them to get closer to the animal in order to rope and pull it up. They were successful in their mission and were able to pull it off.
The authorities were notified at 1 a.m., according to the description of the post. The search and rescue operation lasted until 5 a.m. Later, the elephant calf was safely escorted back to its group.
“At 1 a.m., teams received word of an elephant calf that had fallen into a ditch. In the dead of night, a long rescue operation was carried out. He was successfully recovered around 5 a.m. Parveen Kaswan captioned the photo, “And then guided it back to its family, who were in a nearby woodland.”
