Anita Karim, Pakistan’s first female mixed martial arts (MMA) competitor, won her match against Australia’s Uyen Ha by unanimous decision at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok under the umbrella of Fairtex Fight Promotion.
According to reports, the Hunza-born fighter, who is 25 years old, overpowered her opponent in all three rounds of the bantamweight match.
Anita’s victory was announced on Twitter by her brother, who stated that Anita is the only Pakistani martial artist to have competed at the famed Lumpinee Stadium.
The Hunza fighter, dubbed “the arm collector,” has earned numerous awards throughout her career. In 2019, she rose to prominence after defeating Indonesian opponent Gita Suharsono in the One Warrior Series (OWS).
