Apple has announced the new MacBook Pro and MacBook Air computers, which are powered by Apple’s new Apple Silicon M2 CPU. The corporation has not specified the launch date at the time of the announcement at WWDC.
Apple has now announced that pre-orders for the new 13-inch MacBook Pro will begin on June 17th and that shipping will begin on June 24th. Apple Authorized Resellers, apple.com, and the Apple Store app are all options for placing an order.
In terms of design, the new 13-inch MacBook Pro looks almost identical to its predecessor. The Touch Bar, which was removed from the 14-inch and 16-inch variants, is still there at the top of the keyboard.
The Apple M2 CPU, which is based on the second-generation 5m technology, sits at the heart of the laptop. It has an 18 percent quicker CPU, a 35 percent more powerful GPU, and a 40 percent faster Neural Engine, according to the company.
Working with RAW photographs in Affinity Photo is approximately 40% faster with a faster 8-core CPU and 10-core GPU, according to Apple, and up to 3.4x faster for customers upgrading from the previous version.
It has a 13.3-inch Retina display with a P3 broad colour gamut and TrueTone technology that can brighten up to 500 nits. A 720p FaceTime HD camera sits at the top of the screen, making it the lowest-resolution webcam in the MacBook series.
This notebook, unlike the current MacBook Air, does not support a MagSafe charger. Instead, two Thunderbolt/USB 4 ports are available for charging and peripherals. On a single charge, the battery may last up to 20 hours of video playback.
