Deepika Padukone rushed to the hospital after complaining of discomfort while filming Project K

Deepika Padukone, a Bollywood actor, was reportedly brought to a Hyderabad hospital after complaining of unease on the set of the untitled film ‘Project K.’ According to reports, the actor’s heart rate spiked on set, prompting her to be transported to Hyderabad’s Kamineni Hospital.

Deepika recovered quickly and returned to the sets. “Deepika was hurried to the hospital after feeling unwell. Her heartbeat became uneven, and she became restless. She is now back on the sets of Project K and recovering after being treated,” India Today stated, citing sources.

The anticipated film, directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, is billed as a multilingual sci-fi film. Ashwin is best recognised for directing the 2018 biographical drama “Mahanati,” which won a National Award.

Amitabh Bachchan gave the muhurat shot of the much-anticipated film on Guru Purnima, while Prabhas uploaded a picture from the sets. The actor captioned the photo, “On this #GuruPurnima, it is an honour for me to Clap for the Guru of Indian Cinema!… it now begins!! #ProjectK.”
