Junaid Jamshed Khan was a famous Pakistani singer, television personality, songwriter, and preacher. He was born on September 3, 1964. He graduated with a degree in engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore.
He made his own musical band named Vital Signs.Jamshed first gained national prominence and international recognition as group ‘Vital Signs’ vocalist in 1987 with the album, Vital Signs 1.
It included the singles “Dil Dil Pakistan”, and “Tum Mil Gaye”. The commercial success of Vital Signs’ first album helped develop Pakistan’s rock music industry.
Junaid Jamshed was not only famous in Pakistan but also all over the world. Junaid Jamshed said goodbye to a Music career and started preaching Islam and learning its position in religion. Furthermore, he launched a clothing line under the name J. in order to maintain an income source.
Last year, on December 7, PIA aircraft ATR-42 turboprop plane, operating flight PK-661, crashed near Havelian with 47 passengers and crew members onboard. Renowned Naat Khwan and former pop singer Junaid Jamshed along with his wife were also on the plane.
Today marks the first death anniversary of the vocalist of the Nation and the country is profoundly grieving his misfortune.
