According to an expert, Meghan Markle might consent to travel to the United Kingdom provided she was trailed by a swarm of cameras.
Angela Levin, a royal specialist, believes Meghan’s presence at the Invictus Games is ‘unnecessary’ and believes the Duchess is merely there for publicity.
Angela Levin, a royal specialist, told The Sun Online: “Meghan will be there because they are filming the upcoming Netflix documentary.
“They’re bringing cameras, and she doesn’t want to lose out on the attention.
“The Invictus Games do not belong to her; she enjoys taking over projects that she believes would be beneficial to her. She isn’t required there.”
When asked if she thinks Meghan and Harry will visit the UK this year, she stated, “I think they’ll come back if we let them bring Netflix cameramen, they won’t come otherwise.”
Ms Levin also claimed that the Sussexes’ journey to Holland is a “snub” to the Queen, citing their refusal to attend Prince Philip’s funeral service two days before.
Harry and Meghan have inked a £120 million Netflix TV series contract in which they will develop material for the streaming giant. Meghan will be accompanied by a Netflix camera crew as the pair prepares to fly to the Netherlands for the Invictus Games this week.
