Rihanna discusses her anxieties about parenthood, including the fear that she would not be a ‘good enough’ mother.
The singer explained everything in her current cover story for Vogue’s May edition. She mentioned her disdain for gender reveal events and recounted a chat she had with her doctor.
“I questioned my doctor: Is there something wrong with me since I don’t want this?” “Because people keep asking,” she explained.
“Am I a horrible mother?” When we’re ready, we’ll just inform the world.”
During the interview, Rihanna also confessed that she prefers wild parties to formal gender reveal showers.
“There will be no breakfast, and there will be no blush tones.” “There will be no animal-shaped anything,” she confirmed to the publication.
“I mean, it’s great for a lot of people — I’ve even hosted a few baby showers like that myself — but it’s just not right for me.”
“I, for one, want a celebration.” Everyone should be plastered and crawling out. And it must be co-ed! “Don’t place me on a wicker chair with gifts at my feet when everyone is gazing at me,” she added before closing.
