Will Smith’s contentious behaviour at the Oscars in 2022 is said to have heightened difficulties in the pair’s marriage, with the couple ‘barely’ speaking to one other.
Chris Rock was smacked on the stage at the renowned event by the King Richard star for making fun of Jada’s shorn head.
Regardless of people’s differing opinions on the subject, the couple’s tension is rising.
“Tensions between them have been obvious ever since the Oscars fiasco,” Heat Magazine stated.
“There have been issues for years,” one insider said, “but they’re hardly communicating right now.”
“If they divorce, Will is worth $350 million, of which Jada would be entitled to half under California law.”
“It might be one of the most acrimonious divorces in entertainment history, lasting longer than Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s,” the tabloid stated.
“Will definitely doesn’t want that,” the source said, “but there’s only so much he can take.”
“Violence in all of its manifestations is corrosive and harmful,” Will wrote in a public apology to Chris. My behaviour at the Academy Awards last night was both terrible and unforgivable.
“Jokes at my expense are a part of the job, but a joke about Jada’s medical condition was too much for me to bear and I reacted emotionally,” he added.
