Meghan Markle, who returned to the United States on Monday after wrapping up her Invictus Games tour, is said to have spent £38,000 on her charity outfits.
While attending the Invictus Games, Prince Harry’s sweetheart wore seven fashionable ensembles and flaunted new jewellery, including a £12,800 Cartier necklace and a £911 set of pinky rings.
Meghan’s outfits for the Easter weekend trip were said to be a mix of high-end brands and small jewellers, costing a total of £37,869 for the trip.
The mother-of-most two’s costly ensemble was worn during the Opening Ceremony, when she wore a £620 body suit by US designer Khaite, along with £595 Manolo pumps and a £12,800 Cartier necklace.
The expense of Meghan’s work clothing was covered by Prince Charles through the money he granted the newlyweds from the Duchy of Cornwall while she was a working member of the royal family.
However, it is unclear who will foot the tab for Meghan’s outfits now that the pair is financially independent.
The Invictus Games 2022 were officially launched in the Netherlands by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The royal couple exchanged a sweet kiss in addition to exhibiting their parenting style and trendy dress sense.
Meghan Markle is said to have cut her European tour short and returned to the United States just four days before Prince Harry.
