The Sussexes and Cambridges are having a hard time patching up after Meghan Markle’s comments about Kate Middleton in an Oprah interview.
Since Meghan publically humiliated Kate in her tell-all sit-in, royal expert Ian Lloyd believes the divide between the brothers and sister-in-laws will be tough to heal.
He explained to Express.co.uk: “I just don’t think it’ll happen, especially with William.
“In the Oprah Winfrey interview, there was a lot about Kate and Meghan crying at the wedding.
“I think they shot themselves in the foot with William and Kate, and I don’t think they’ll go near them again.”
“It’s a family, and the relationship can be mended,” he continued, “but I believe it will need a long-term investment from both sides, and I believe it will require Harry spending time here and doing things without doing interviews.”
Meghan told Oprah that shortly after her wedding to Prince Harry in 2019, Kate made her cry.
Meghan went on to say that Kate “owned it and apologised.”
