Nicole Kidman was apparently left out of ex-husband Tom Cruise’s Cannes Film Festival career montage video.
According to Variety, the actress was one of the only starring ladies not included in the 10-minute montage performed at the 2022 film festival on Wednesday. She was married to Cruise for 11 years and acted in three films with him.
The film contained scenes from “Days of Thunder,” when the exes first met, as well as sequences from “Far and Away” and “Eyes Wide Shut,” according to the outlet.
However, none of the clips utilised in the film featured Cruise with his ex-wife, and all of them showed him alone.
Many of Cruise’s other co-stars were also included in snippets, including Kirsten Dunst, Renée Zellweger, and Penelope Cruz, whom he dated for three years.
Although the “Big Little Lies” star, 54, was not featured in the career montage, she was mentioned when Cruise, 59, was asked about his role in “Eyes Wide Shut.”
“[Stanley Kubrick], Nic, and I worked together to develop the tone,” Cruise told Variety.
From 1990 to 2001, Cruise and Kidman were married and had two children: Bella, 29, and Connor, 27.
Kidman was previously married to Mimi Rogers, whom he married from 1987 to 1990. He began dating Katie Holmes, 43, in 2005, after a three-year relationship with Cruz, and they were married from 2006 to 2012. Suri, 16, is the couple’s daughter.
In 2005, Kidman began dating Australian musician Keith Urban, 54, and the two married in 2006. The couple has two kids, Sunday Rose, 13, and Faith Margaret, 11, who will celebrate their 16th wedding anniversary on June 25.
