After reportedly hitting Amber Heard, her sister Whitney Henriquez said that her sister’s ex-husband Johnny Depp ordered her to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
Henriquez testified on Wednesday in the former couple’s multimillion-dollar defamation trial that the Aquaman actor discovered text messages indicating that Depp was cheating on her.
When Henriquez confronted her then-brother-in-law about the alleged affair, he initially denied it, but later blamed Amber, claiming, “Amber pushed me forward. Amber forced me to do it. I’m obviously lying.”
According to Henriquez’ evidence, after a verbal altercation between the former couple, Depp punched Henriquez in the back and then proceeded to smack Heard in the face repeatedly.
The witness then testified in court that the Pirates of the Caribbean actor yelled as he left the room “I despise you. I despise both of you. (expletive) you”
Depp demanded that Henriquez sign an NDA after the encounter, as she claimed in court “My kitchen table had an NDA on it.”
“I believe there is a contract in place to keep things confidential.” To effectively keep your mouth shut. “I was asked to sign one,” Henriquez replied, “but I don’t think I did.” After that, I departed.”
