Britney Spears wrote a long letter in which she discussed how her conservatorship has caused her to question her faith in God and how she wants to tell her tale to the public in the hopes that others will understand her agony.
The Toxic singer took to Instagram to say that no one should go through what she did, praising individuals who have been in similar situations and openly discussed them for their bravery.
“I’ve spent my entire life playing the field… the business… the industry… that was of my own creating… was it in God’s hands or mine???” Spears wrote. Is it possible that it was because I was close to God and he directed me??? I haven’t always been flawless, but I am aware of the consequences.
“It wasn’t just the torture it was the embarrassment of it all… I’ve made a point to capture my experience through a book I am writing… It’s all written on pages that people will hold with their own two hands… and hopefully have a better understanding… we all know something we read isn’t the same as your spirit experiencing those circumstances, but I do feel like some people will be touched…”

“I will say that the level of seclusion I was in for 4 months upset me the most,” she said of her terrible conservatorship. I used to enjoy being alone, but it was entirely my decision!!! My decision to delve deeper and listen to the spirit’s messages… the forced isolation was torturous on all levels…”
The singer went on to claim that, while she respects individuals who have gone through similar events and have chosen to speak about them publicly, she does not want to be questioned about her own experiences, saying, “I don’t want to ever talk about it again… I’m afraid I’d be entertaining the very people who have mistreated me…”
