Kourtney, 43, and Travis, 46, attended a blessing in San Fruttuoso, according to a source. For the event, they dressed in all black Dolce and Gabbana costumes.
San Fruttuoso has a rich history in addition to being a beautiful venue for wedding celebrations. The Abbey of San Fruttuoso is dedicated to Saint Fruttuoso of Tarragona, a third-century bishop and Catalan saint. After the Arab invasion of the Iberian Peninsula, Fruttuoso’s ashes were brought to the abbey.
The wealthy Doria family became engaged with the abbey in the 13th century, after it was rebuilt as a Benedictine monastery in the 10th century. The Dorias altered the abbey’s structure and intended to bury their family there. Frank and Orietta Pogson Doria Pamphilj, on the other hand, opted to donate the entire complex to the Italian Environment Fund in 1983. (FAI). After being installed in 1954 and refurbished in the 1990s, a famous statue of Christ of the Abyss now sits in the abbey’s bay.
