A women’s abuse organisation has offered support to Johnny Depp, who has been accused of domestic abuse by his ex-wife Amber Heard.
According to the Daily Mail, Mission NGO, directed by former Miss Italy Valeria Altobelli, published a statement on Friday vowing to support Johnny “in this dark chapter of his life.”
“In profound regard for the victims of domestic abuse who, in general, are WOMEN,” the statement said. “We feel compelled to voice, as women, as moms, as free thinkers, our compassion for Johnny Depp in this horrible chapter of his personal history,” it added.
Valeria also wrote a public letter to the Pirates of the Caribbean star, expressing her “empathy.”
“MISSION NGO women from all over the world, regardless of gender, age, or ethnicity, stand against domestic violence.
“Our purpose is to educate men and women of all genders to continue discussing and living in the ideals of love, mutual understanding, and sensitivity in order to prevent all forms of violence, including violence against women, men, and children.”
“We have sympathy and empathy as women, not for THE star, THE genius, THE actor, but for a man, a father, a worker, a HUMAN,” she continued.
