In the midst of the continuing defamation case against Johnny Depp, Australian firm Bath Box issued a statement to express their “sincere” regret for mocking Amber Heard’s abuse claims.
According to 7NEWS.com.au, a spokeswoman for the band stated that similar instances will not occur again.
“At Bath Box, we DO NOT condone domestic abuse and DO NOT believe it is a humorous subject,” the company stated.
After the brand utilised Heard’s audio in the since-deleted video, it added, “Our deepest and sincerest apologies go out to anyone who has been or will be hurt by the social media post.”
“Have you ever had a bath bomb slapped in the face?” The image had a caption.
“As I was leaving the room, he slapped me across the face. ‘Johnny, you hit me, you just hit me,’ I said as I turned to face him. The audio of Heard was played in the backdrop of the video, along with lively music.
