Catherine Tyldesley, a celebrity on Coronation Street, has revealed the name of her infant daughter.
She said that the newcomer’s name is Iris Ella, a name she had chosen for years after portraying a role with that name.
Last month, at 10.12pm, the kid was born two weeks after her due date at St Mary’s Hospital in Manchester, weighing 8lb.
Hello! said Catherine: “For years, I’ve gone by the name Iris. I played Iris Moss in the BBC drama Lilies a few years ago, and I’ve been in love with it ever since.”
Catherine’s middle name, Catherine Pitfield, is a tribute to Catherine’s late grandmother.
“Iris Ella, it really works,” the actress, who played Eva Price on Corrie, stated.
Catherine and Tom have a seven-year-old kid named Alfie who lives with them in Cheshire.
With an exquisite black and white snapshot taken by Tom, they announced the arrival of their new baby.
“We are overjoyed to announce the arrival of our lovely baby,” she added.
“We are happy that our family is complete and grateful beyond words.”
