This Eid-ul-Azha, Pakistani films London Nahi Jaunga and Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad will be released. The Lollywood flicks will face heavy competition from Hollywood and Marvel Studios’ Thor: Love And Thunder, which will be released in theatres around Eid.
Pakistani filmmakers are struggling to convince people to view their most recent works. Recent Eid-ul-Fitr films such as Parde Mein Rehne Do and Dum Mastam have flopped at the box office. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, from Marvel Studios, was too much for the local movie.
London Nahi Jaunga, starring Humayun Saeed and Mehwish Hayat, appears to be heading towards the same fate. In theatres, the picture will face off against Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman in Thor: Love And Thunder. The similar problem confronts Mahira Khan and Fahad Mustafa’s Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad.
The filmmakers aim to make a lot of money during the Eid celebrations, but the majority of fans are more interested in any and all Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) initiatives.
The film is a lighthearted family drama with comedy and romance, written by Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar and directed by Nadeem Baig. According to Humayun Saeed, the film is very different from Mehwish Hayat’s Punjab Nahi Jaungi. Kubra Khan, Vasay Chaudhary, Sohail Ahmed, and Gohar Rasheed are among the cast members.
Fahad Mustafa channels his inner “Chulbul Pandey” as a no-nonsense cop in director Nabeel Qureshi’s criminal comedy. Mahira Khan’s persona, on the other hand, is more than a “damsel in distress.”
