Fans have chastised Kim Kardashian for allowing her kid to wear ‘inappropriate’ clothing for an eight-year-old.
The reality star was spotted out and about to celebrate her older sister Kourtney’s wedding to Travis Barker of Blink-182.
Kim spent the weekend in Portofino, Italy, with her family to celebrate her sister’s wedding.
However, eyebrows were raised when her daughter North was photographed alongside her wearing a nude satin corset.
North’s thickly layered dress was deemed ‘uncomfortable’ for the heat in Italy by some commentators, while the corset was deemed ‘inappropriate’ by others.
As the family celebrations continued on Saturday, May 21, Kim was seen walking for lunch in a silky black body-hugging outfit.
Her off-the-shoulder gown was complemented by a cross necklace that matched that of her small daughter.
Kim flaunted her new blond locks while holding hands with her eldest kid, whom she shares with rapper Kanye West. North had her hair in lengthy braids.
Even though everyone was preoccupied with what the eight-year-old was wearing.
A constrictive nude satin corset, a pink fur coat, lattice leggings, white sneakers, and a charming bejewelled pocketbook adorned the child.
One Reddit member expressed his wish that Kanye speaks with Kim about the attire she wears for North.
“Apart from being age and weather inappropriate (I hope Kanye [West] has a word with Kim about repeatedly dressing their 8-year-old in corsets… it’s f**king crazy), this is a wonderful outfit,” they said.
“I agree, the mom in me doesn’t like the corset on an 8yr [daughter],” another said.
“Can’t understand why a child is wearing a corset,” someone else wrote.
“May in Italy and this poor child in a coat,” wrote a fourth.
Other Redditors agreed that North must have been hot in the coat, with one commenting that she “must be melting.”
Kanye recently lashed out at Kim for allowing their child to wear cosmetics, as well as the 41-year-old for piercing North’s ears with $50,000 Lorraine Schwarts diamond earrings in 2014.
