The court battle between Heard and Depp, now in its sixth and final week, has included a number of entertainment industry professionals.
On Monday, May 23rd, Kathryn Arnold came in court to discuss the case’s influence on Heard’s career, comparing her to Cuban-Spanish actress Ana de Armas, who played in the most recent James Bond film.
However, several Twitter users were unsure if Heard or Ana de Armas appeared in the 2017 film Blade.
WAS AMBER HEARD IN BLADE RUNNER 2049?
Amber Heard didn’t make an appearance in Blade Runner 2049. Ana de Armas portrayed the character Joi in the film.
The Knives Out and No Time To Die actress appears with Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford in the 2017 science-fiction film as a hologram love interest.
In supporting roles, Sylvia Hoeks, Robin Wright, Mackenzie Davis, and Dave Bautista appeared.
Blade Runner 2049 earned an Academy Award for Best Cinematography and Best Visual Effects in 2018, as well as critical and financial success.
The question of whether Heard appeared in the film derives from a cross-examination by Wayne Dennison, Johnny Depp’s lawyer.

KATHRYN ARNOLD’S TESTIMONY AND BLADE RUNNER 2049 REFERENCE
Kathryn Arnold spoke in court on Monday (May 23rd) and offered a list of actresses she thought were comparable to Heard in order to determine how much the case’s negative publicity had harmed Heard’s acting career.
Ana de Armas’ breakout part, according to the entertainment expert, came in Blade Runner 2049, which was her “major studio feature” that received “a lot of attention.”
“We can definitely look for her [Ana de Armas] as a benchmark here,” Arnold remarked.
Arnold responded to Depp’s lawyer’s question about Armas’ role in the film, saying, “It was years ago, I don’t recall precisely what role she did, but she was in that movie and her agency should have known.”
“Are you aware that her main character in the film is a massive naked billboard?” Depp’s lawyer had inquired.
Aside from Ana de Armas, Kathryn compared Heard to Jason Momoa, Gal Gadot, Zendaya, and Chris Pine, among others.
MORE FROM ARNOLD’S TESTIMONY
Arnold said Heard received $1 million for Aquaman and $2 million for Aquaman 2 during cross-examination.
Heard might have gotten her Aquaman 2 contract for $4 million, according to Arnold, but she couldn’t since she was “extremely negative” in the press.
Arnold further said that if Heard had negotiated a $4 million movie every year, she would have made a total of $20 million.
Amber Heard is suing Johnny Depp for defamation over an op-ed she wrote for the Washington Post in 2018. Depp is being sued by Heard. The case will be continued.
