Saba Qamar is the undisputed queen of celluloid, beloved by both fans and critics. Whether in India or Pakistan, the Baaghi star is a talent powerhouse that audiences adore.
Saba’s excellent performance in the Irrfan Khan-starrer Hindi Medium was well-received and much adored, but regrettably, the ban on Pakistani actors prevented the 37-year-old star from working on further projects.
Saba said in a recent interview that she has turned down big Bollywood blockbusters. She claimed that she turned down popular films like Dehli 6 and Love Aaj Kal.
“At the time of Dehli 6, I passed auditions but my mother wouldn’t let me do the films, so when I was offered the popular film Love Aj Kal, I turned it down since I was in my star mode, thinking I wouldn’t work as a second lead with Deepika Padokone.”

The Cheekh actor also spoke about her meeting with Sri Devi, a legendary Indian actress. Saba remarked that the late diva was a stunning and honourable woman.
Saba Qamar will be making a comeback to television with the upcoming production Tumhare Husn Ke Naam and the film Ghabrana Nahi Hai.
The film is directed by Saqib Khan and stars Qamar, Ahmed, Syed Jibran, and Nayyer Ijaz in the key roles. After being delayed owing to Covid-19, it was released on Eid ul Fitr 2022.
