After a day of partying, FOOTIE star Andy Carroll passes out with a blonde, only two weeks before his wedding to reality TV star Billi Mucklow.
After going to Dubai to gatecrash his fiancée’s hen party, the ex-England striker, 33, drank with Taylor Jane Wilkey.
He and Taylor Jane Wilkey were photographed on a bed, and she was wearing his customised bathrobe. “This is embarrassing with the wedding so soon,” friends added.
Last week, the injury-prone striker met up with his soon-to-be bride Billi Mucklow in Dubai before she and her hen party pals headed home.
Two days later, the former Newcastle and Liverpool striker began his own stag do, spending the day partying with bartender Taylor.
They began at the city’s upscale Cove Beach club at midday.
Carroll then invited her and two friends to an afterparty at another club before returning to his hotel suite.
Photos from the night were shared on Snapchat, including one showing Taylor next to him on a bed, with Carroll looking a little worse for wear, and another of her in his monogrammed bathrobe.
They became viral after Taylor sent them to friends in the United Kingdom.
“This is all really embarrassing with the wedding so soon,” friends close to the former Toon player and ex-Towie star Billi remarked last night.
“It was all just a bit of absolutely harmless fun,” Taylor, 27, of Scarborough, told The Sun.
She claimed the snapshot was taken “as a joke” on Wednesday night.
“It was an afterparty,” she explained. We returned to his hotel as a group. My female friend, Andy, and I were the only ones present.
“I didn’t sleep with him; there were three of us in the room at the time.”
“It had been a long day and night of drinking; we’d been at Cove Beach since 12 o’clock, and it had been a particularly boozy day.” We were all inebriated, and Andy was seething.”
“We went back to Andy’s hotel suite and played some music, and he got in bed and passed out,” she continued.
“I was there until the early hours of the morning with my friend and snapped the photo as a prank.”
“My friends at home were bugging me for information, so I snapped the image and forwarded it to them for a laugh.”
“There was no sexual activity.” It was just a little friendly banter.”
‘NOTHING SEXUAL HAPPENED’
Taylor said she wanted to sleep as well, so she changed into one of the former West Ham player’s bathrobes in the bathroom.
“At the end of the day, nothing happened that should harm his relationship,” she said. It was only for a laugh.”
Taylor confirmed that she and her companions met the stag party at a nightclub after drinking with Carroll at Cove Beach.
“We went to a club and were dancing, it was a beautiful night,” she continued.
Taylor partied with Carroll and his friends, including Newcastle United goalkeeper Mark Gillespie and defender Paul Dummett.
Carroll is expecting a cold reception from fiancée Billi when the stag party returns to the UK today. The couple first met in 2013 and married a year later.
Carroll and Billi have two small children together, as well as two more from a prior relationship.
“This is all really awful timing with the wedding so soon,” friends close to the couple remarked, grateful that “nothing dreadful happened.”
Taylor relocated to the emirate last summer and now works as an assistant manager at a high-end hotel’s posh bar and restaurant. Carroll, who was released by West Brom just a few days ago, arrived in Dubai on Sunday to attend Billi’s hen do.
Carroll was greeted by a happy Billi, who shared a photo of the two.
“STEN – Hen Party Crasher @andytcarroll,” she captioned a snap of them embracing, implying that Carroll’s stag do was about to begin in the same place.
On Monday morning, Billi travelled back to the United Kingdom, leaving Carroll and his friends behind.
As they boarded the bus to take them to the airport, her friends dressed her up in a Newcastle United shirt and handed her posters reading “Mrs Carroll to be…”
“What a way to conclude the finest weekend ever… #whentoon becomeone,” she captioned a photo of herself eating McDonald’s meals.
Billi and her friends took advantage of her final vacation before marrying Carroll. She published a series of photos from her trip to Dubai on Instagram.
Carroll’s stag party, which included the girls, numbered 15 people. He was staying at the opulent Fairmont Palms, where rooms cost around £500 per night.
Billi stated in January that she got her wedding gown from Brown’s Brides, a known boutique for the girlfriends of top-flight athletes.
Sister Giorgie, stepdaughter Emilie-Rose Carroll, and former Towie star Shelby Tribble will be among her bridesmaids.
At a spectacular bash last year, Billi asked them to be a part of her bridal party.
Carroll stated that meeting Billi and raising a family with her had a positive impact on his life. “I met my missus, and we’ve got four kids living at home now,” he stated in 2019.
“We have animals.” We’ve got a lot of responsibility on our hands. You know, there’s no longer any of that behaviour.
“I was stupid, I was young, and I was taken away by my way of life.”
“Now everything is different. I am, in fact, a father. I’ve grown up and taken on responsibilities, thus… I’ve found my calling.”
Billi rose to prominence on Towie in 2011, but left two years later to pursue a career as a yoga instructor. She opened her own studio, Hot Yoga Essex, in 2013, but has since taken a step back and only teaches there on occasion.
Carroll joined West Brom in January after being released by Newcastle in the summer of 2021. He had previously played for Reading.
He played 15 times for West Bromwich Albion in the Championship.
After scoring twice in eight games for the Royals, the striker scored three times.
Carroll and Billi’s representatives declined to comment last night.
