Camila Cabello got the Champions League Final off to a rousing start by performing some of her biggest hits at the start of the game.
The Cuban-American singer sang in the Stade de France’s opening ceremony, which was sponsored by Pepsi, before Liverpool and Real Madrid took the field for the match.
The 25-year-old pop sensation wowed the crowd with an electrifying performance that was severely delayed due to reports of police teargassing football fans outside the stadium.
Camila did not disappoint when she finally got the chance to perform, opening with one of her best singles, Seorita.
The Grammy Award contender was joined by dancers and musicians as she put on a show for the crowd, truly kicking off the party ahead of an exciting match.
Camila wore an all-white fringed combination with a pair of tiny hot pats, a crop top, and knee-high boots, and she looked stunning.
She accessorised with gold jewellery, braided her hair, and used bright eye make-up to complete her outfit.
Dancers in red, orange, and yellow attire played drums on the pitch while surrounded by fire and colour explosions.
Dancers organised themselves on the pitch at one point to spell out ‘Hola’ and ‘Hello,’ as well as ‘Familia,’ the title of Camila’s most recent studio album.
Camila – who also did some sassy choreography with a fan – sang her new single Bam Bam, as well as her huge hit Havana and the upbeat song Don’t Go Yet – for the audience.
As she pranced around the stage and made fun gestures towards the camera, she exuded confidence.
Following her performance, fans – many of whom turned in specifically to see Camila – flocked to Twitter to express their awe, while professional footballer Steven Gerrard quipped that he only knew two of her songs before she performed, but once she did, he knew four.
‘Wow @Camila Cabello totally killed her performance at tonight’s @ChampionsLeague final so very proud of you Camila you slayed queen,’ one Twitter user said.
‘Camila Cabello had a stunning performance. It reminded me of the World Cup, not just the Champions League. Another remarked, “Her bringing culture back to football is wonderful,” while analyst Jake Humphries added, “Her performance gave the game a Super Bowl atmosphere.”
Another Camila supporter even stated that they had ‘tears’ in their eyes as they watched her give it her all on stage.
‘That is how you open a show,’ other stated.

Camila admitted that she was worried before the gig, but that her nerves soon dissipated as her joy grew.
‘Everyone in Europe is watching, and I’m thrilled to be here.’ I mean, one of the things I admire about soccer fans is their excitement, intensity, and enthusiasm, like the energy they exude,’ she told Uefa.
‘I’ve wanted to go to a soccer game for a long time.’ It’s not only because I’m here that I’m saying this; it’s something I’ve always wanted to do.
‘My father is Mexican, and I’m Latin, so soccer is an important part of our culture, and we always cheer for Mexico when they play.’ So I’ve always wanted to attend to a game, and I watch this Mexican TV show called Club de Cuervos.
She stated that she intended to infuse her performance with ‘that same excitement and enthusiasm, as well as that Mexican/Cuban culture,’ which we believe she did.
