Today in Mahabalipuram, lovebirds Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan married in a lovely ceremony. The pair looked magnificent at the wedding, dressed in ethnic finery.

Monica and Karishma wore custom-designed outfits from the label Jade by Monica and Karishma. While Nayanthara wore a magnificent crimson saree that was both traditional and contemporary, Vignesh wore a kurta and veshti that was both simple and exquisite. For her wedding saree, the actress paid homage to heritage by drawing inspiration from the architecture of the Hoysala Temple. Are you curious as to how?

For her wedding, actress Nayanthara wanted to go for a mix of modern and traditional looks. She chose a vermilion crimson saree with tone-on-tone embroidered detailing that was custom-made for her. She paired it with a full-sleeved blouse in the same colour. The actress completed her ensemble with a floor-length veil.

To complement her bridal look, the actress chose a hefty assemblage of gems. To compliment her regal crimson attire, she added an intricate choker, a satlada, and another hefty necklace. Her jewellery collection was completed by a maang tikka, a set of bangles, and huge studs.

Her bridal style was given a modern twist by celebrity makeup artist Puneet B Saini’s minimal makeup in neutral tones.

For the big day, Vignesh wore a traditional attire made by Jade by Monica and Karishma. He wore a short kurta with a veshti and a shawl to complete his look. His scarf included ek taar embroidery, which added grandeur and charm to his ensemble.
