When life hands you lemons, you don’t just create lemonade; it’s the universe’s way of putting your tenacity to the test! With an offbeat comedy, GoodLuck Jerry, Disney+ Hotstar delivers an all-new story of hustling and survival. The film is around the life of a young girl named Jerry, and it humorously depicts her challenges as she goes above and beyond to cure her sick mother. However, her path in this voyage is littered with twists and turns, resulting in entertaining moments of mayhem and humour.

“We are thrilled to join with Disney+ Hotstar once again after ‘Atrangi Re,’ to bring Jerry’s incredible narrative of survival and resilience to the audience,” said producer Aanand L Rai of Colour Yellow Productions. Best wishes Jerry is a story of a down-on-her-luck girl who uses her instincts to kick back and stay afloat in the face of life’s hardships, but she ends up causing chaos along the way.”

The film, directed by Siddharth Sen and produced by Aanand L Rai’s Colour Yellow Productions, Lyca Productions, and Mahaveer Jain, will debut on Disney+ Hotstar on July 29, 2022. Aanand L Rai’s unique aesthetic is evident in the film, which marks his second collaboration with Disney+ Hotstar.

Janhvi Kapoor a.k.a. Jerry stars in the comedy, which also stars Deepak Dobriyal, Mita Vashisht, Neeraj Sood, and Sushant Singh in prominent parts. Goodluck Jerry, the largest production firm in Tamil cinema, is also Lyca Productions’ first attempt into Hindi movies.

Janhvi Kapoor, said, “Jerry is a one-of-a-kind character, and portraying her was a challenge for me. Jerry’s wit and comic timing were vital aspects of the character in any serious circumstance. Good Luck Jerry is a unique project for me because it is my first collaboration with Anand L Rai, and the film follows his storytelling approach, which makes it much more fascinating to watch. I’m ecstatic to share the poster with everyone, and I’m happy for the opportunity to work with Colour Yellow Productions and Disney+ Hotstar on this project.”
