The photographs, which were shared on Kate and Prince William’s official Instagram account, show Kate’s mother laughing as she prepares the cakes for a street celebration in Cardiff today.
“Baking cakes for the local community in Cardiff to enjoy at a Platinum Jubilee street party taking place today!” Kate captioned the photo.
“We sincerely hope you enjoy them!”
Casual Kate wore denim, but her expensive top, a pink gingham blouse by Brora that cost £129, offered a touch of luxury.
After three days of Platinum Jubilee celebrations, the Cambridge youngsters were equally delighted to ditch their ceremonial attire.
