Senior editorialist and writer Munir Ahmed Qureshi, and also known as Munnu Bhai, passed away on Friday 19th January 2018, family sources affirmed earlier. He was 84 years of age. His real name was Muneer Ahmed Qureshi.
The senior writer was suffering from kidney and cardiovascular issues for a long while and was likewise experiencing routine dialysis treatment.
PPP President Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also expressed his condolence following the news of Munno Bhai’s death and said.

He was born in Wazirabad on February 6, 1933, and also he was affiliated with journalism for more than 25 years.
He wrote many dramas for Pakistan Television, his most famous play was ‘Sohna Chandni’ which will always be remembered by his fans.
