HYDERABAD: A passenger train, the Rehman Baba Express, derailed near Hyderabad on its way to Karachi from Peshawar on Friday, according to Geo News.
Along with the engine, all of the bogies derailed. However, there were no recorded casualties. Furthermore, the cause of the accident could not be determined until this report was filed.
The officials in charge dispatched rescue teams right away. Rehman Baba Express bogies derailed on the down track, according to sources.
Meanwhile, a representative for the Edhi rescue agency verified that there were no casualties.
“There have been no injured passengers taken to the local medical facility, Kotri taluka hospital,” an Edhi centre in-charge stated.
He said that adequate ambulances and rescue workers had been dispatched to the accident scene.
