Netizens have a lot to say when new developments in the Dua Zehra case emerge. The young girl who went missing in Karachi has returned home.
The girl was ordered to be returned to her parents by the Lahore High Court. The highest court ruled that the young couple’s nikkahnama was invalid because the legal age of marriage in Punjab is 16 years and 18 years in Sindh.
The Qazi who performed the nikkah has been captured in the meantime. Sindh police will now be in charge of Dua Zehra. Her father expressed comfort and satisfaction when he told her about this outcome.

About the Dua Zehra Case
Dua Zehra left her house to perform an errand and never returned, according to the parents of the suspected juvenile. The nationwide hunt for the missing youngster rocked the nation, with many calling for her to be found as quickly as possible. Dua Zehra afterwards released a video statement claiming that she was not a minor but rather a legal adult. She confessed that she left her household on her own volition to marry 21-year-old Zaheer Ahmed.
Dua’s father has filed a petition at the Lahore High Court, claiming that his daughter is only 14. He claimed that his daughter’s assertion that she is 18 years old is false. She went on to say that she was forced to make such things by her in-laws.
The father wished to reclaim his daughter. Dua, on the other hand, alleged that her parents were threatening her and her husband, Zaheer Ahmed. She also requested protection from Sindh and Punjab police. In the event that something occurred to his daughter, her father claimed that law enforcement officials would be held accountable.
