Mark Zuckerberg revealed that WhatsApp users can now respond to messages and group chats with a full selection of amusing emoticons and a skin tone slider within discussions as of this World Emoji Day.
In order to make interactions more vibrant and enjoyable, users were previously limited to using only six emojis to respond to messages and group chats.
Additionally, Meta has shown usage patterns for several of our favourite emojis both in Pakistan and globally.
What’s New on WhatsApp Emoji Dock?
Emojis are quickly evolving into a universally understood visual language, according to trends. People of all generations, from Gen Z to Baby Boomers, find it handy to “speak” emoji when communicating with friends and family, coworkers, and strangers.
For this reason, Meta has been adding fresh emojis to its emoji dock so that users may communicate with greater nuance and variety.
Here are some of the most recent emojis that have started to appear in our conversations, and WhatsApp and Emojipedia have clarified what each one genuinely means to end user contention:
● 🧢 Blue Cap: Most of us are likely to get this one wrong. The meaning of this unsuspecting headgear in a digital conversation is much deeper than we could have guessed.
● Melting Face: It is the new hot favorite but just like the blue cap, this one is also likely to be misinterpreted.
● 💀 Skull: This one is the most misunderstood of all. Commonly denoting figurative death, the skull has found new meaning and purpose with Gen Z in Pakistan and around the world.
● ✍️ Taking Notes: This is what each one of us should be doing right now to excel in the art of digital communication.
