President Pervez Musharraf Passed Away at the age of 78

The former President of Pakistan and Chief of Army Staff, General Pervez Musharraf passed away on Friday.

According to several news reports, the former President Pervez Musharraf has been hospitalized earlier after his health deteriorated. He has been put on ventilator in an American hospital in Dubai.

The 78-year-old former Pakistani President ruled Pakistan from 1999 to 2008. He had come into power by removing the then prime minister Nawaz Sharif in a bloodless coup.
