The Punjab administration has agreed to release salaries and pensions for serving and retired provincial government employees in advance for the month of June.
According to reports, the provincial Finance Ministry has decided to assist employees and pensioners because July 1st, Friday, will be a bank holiday due to the start of the new fiscal year.
Following the bank holiday, there will be two weekly holidays: Saturday and Sunday. As a result, the Finance Ministry has directed all District Accounts Officers to guarantee that the latest directive be followed.
