In January of this year, Samsung released the extremely well-rounded Galaxy S21 FE 5G in Pakistan, which was highly received by fans. With the 4G generation of the S21 FE, the Korean electronics titan hopes to reclaim the worldwide market. The information comes from a Dutch blog, GalaxyClub.nl, which claims that Samsung is working on a 4G model of the S21 FE and will reveal the gadget soon.
The report’s assertions are backed up by a Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 4G support page on Samsung Netherlands’ website. The smartphone’s model number is listed as SM-G990B2, which is extremely similar to the standard S21 FE’s model number of SM-G990B. The Bluetooth SIG platform has also certified the phone, indicating that it would work with Bluetooth 5.2.
The phone has already been featured on two online Scandinavian stores, according to the publication, disclosing several key specifications and features. According to the listings, the Galaxy S21 FE 4G would be powered by a Snapdragon 720G processor.
The phone will also have a 6.4-inch AMOLED FHD+ screen, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage. The handset will be powered by a 4,500 mAh battery and will come preloaded with Android 12. There’s no word yet on the Samsung price or the quick charging method.
A triple camera setup will be installed on the phone’s back panel, consisting of a 12MP primary, 12MP telephoto, and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The front camera, on the other hand, will remain at 32MP. Except for the reduced chipset, most of the characteristics of this LTE model are identical to its 5G cousin.
It’s unclear whether Samsung plans to release a lower-end version of its already-released phone. We’ll have to wait for the official global announcement.
