UFC 280 UK Time: UFC will return to the United Arab Emirates. And they are making every effort
On October 22, the promotion will be back at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island with two title fights on the main show and three enormous undercard contests. Charles Oliveira, a previous lightweight champion, will compete against rising star Islam Makhachev in the main event for the vacant lightweight championship. Oliveira had a remarkable 11-fight winning streak, but he lost his title before his most recent match against Justin Gaethje because he didn’t make weight. Meanwhile, Makhachev has won 10 of his own fights.
Bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling and former titleholder TJ Dillashaw square off in the co-main event, which also offers another intriguing title fight. Last time out, Sterling defeated Petr Yan to defend his championship, and Dillashaw defeated Cory Sandhagen after a two-year layoff due to a failed drug test.
