
A swedish woman was raped by a security guard, deployed for her security, in Islamabad
The incident took place on Tuesday night within the confines of the Abbpara police station, according to details.
According to a FIR filed with the Abbpara police station, a security officer assigned to protect a foreign national woman raped her and fled the scene.
A Swedish national, went to the Aabpara Police Station to file a complaint against the security guard who was stationed at her home. Under Sections 376 and 377 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC), a First Information Report (FIR) was filed, and the incident was investigated, with the accused being taken into custody.
The Swedish woman has been in Islamabad since January 10, according to the FIR, while the security officer who allegedly raped her has been stationed at her G-6/4 home since March 11. According to the FIR, the security guard entered her bedroom and overpowered her, attempting to choke her before raped her.
“I was asleep in my bedroom at around 11:30pm when some noise woke me up and I sensed someone’s presence in the room. Then someone attacked me from behind but I couldn’t recognize who it was due to the dark,” said the Swedish woman in the FIR.
The perpetrator was far more powerful than the victim, according to the victim, who stated he choked her lips with his hands and raped her. She said in the First Information Report, “I felt so suffocated that I could have died” (FIR). The Swedish woman went on to say that she recognised the attacker when she asked him to allow her use the restroom.
She claimed the rapist was her guard, who was stationed at her home by a security firm.
