Syeda Tuba Aamir opens up on Aamir Liaquat’s post-mortem

Syed Tuba, the former wife of Aamir Liaquat Hussain, a TV broadcaster and Islamic scholar, has reacted to the High Court’s order to do an autopsy on Hussain.

Fans and officials alike are concerned about the cause of the beloved TV host’s death, which occurred under exceedingly unusual circumstances.

During the debates, a petitioner said that because the host was a well-known figure, a post-mortem should be conducted. Following the filing of the petition, the court ordered that the deceased be autopsied.

“If the authorities chose to undertake a postmortem examination of Aamir Liaquat, perhaps it would’ve been wiser to do so on the day of his demise,” Tuba, Liaquat’s former wife, expressed her reservations over the host’s autopsy.

She concluded the post by saying, “To exhume his mortal remains, for a postmortem examination more than a week after his departure, is extremely distressful for those grieving this loss. However, I trust in Allah’s Will. I believe Allah pak is the best disposer of our affairs. May Allah pak make this easy for the deceased and the acquaintances Aameen.”

Recently, Bushra Iqbal, Liaquat’s first ex-wife with whom he had two children, urged people to speak out about it because autopsy is a painful operation for dead people that Islam forbids.

“All of you who are lovers and admirers of late Amir Liaquat Hussain, are you in support of a postmortem of Dr. Aamir Liaquat’s body, do you want his body to go through this procedure?” she said on Twitter. Do they wish to be pleased after torturing and injuring the dead body? Dismemberment of the deceased and exhumation of the grave are prohibited in Islam, according to Shari’ah. Allah is keeping an eye on everything. #AamirLiaquat”
